Nuclear Medicine
Technologist Training Program
SERVING THE SF BAY AREA, SACRAMENTO AND FRESNO
Where PHYSICS meets HEALTHCARE
We don't train you for a job,
we train you for a career.
Nuclear Medicine Technologists are valued members of the allied health community who prepare and administer radioactive pharmaceutical tracers, often in the form of an injection, then photograph the distribution of these tracers in the human body. Nuclear medicine technologists must therefore have specialized training in the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, as well as camera operation, computer processing, data reconstruction, radiation safety and quality control. Nuclear medicine plays an integral role in cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, cancer diagnostics and cancer therapies, providing care and compassion to our patients in their time of need.
